2017 Middle Atlantic Conference Final Standings (Courtesy of the Middle Atlantic Conference)
Overview: The Delaware Valley University Aggies (12-1 overall in 2017) finished Middle Atlantic Conference play undefeated for the fourth time dating back to the 2004 season (2005, 2009, and 2011), as they finished 9-0 in the MAC. The Aggies advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III playoffs, where they fell to eventual national semifinalist Brockport in a 31-28 thriller. Entering the home stretch of the offseason with a Top 10 national ranking from Street and Smith's, don't be surprised if Del Val finds itself in the D-III playoff discussion again in 2018.
Additionally, the D-III MAC will add another new program to the mix, as the Alvernia University Golden Wolves out of Reading, Pennsylvania will take the field for the first time this fall. Their first-ever game is against Gallaudet on September 1.
