(Video courtesy of MASN and the NCAA)

On this week's installment of "RFC Throwback Thursday", we take the way back machine all the way to 2007. That's when the Georgia Southern University Eagles and the then two-time defending FCS national champion Appalachian State University Mountaineers in a game for the ages. Believe it or not, this year's Thursday night match-up in the FBS Group Of Five Sun Belt Conference is just the 34th all-time between these two storied programs, with both squads having played each other annually since 1993. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy a thrilling classic from the days when both squads called the Southern Conference home more than a decade ago.
