RFC Throwback Thursday: The Championship Season at Troy (State) University-1987

(Video courtesy of Troy University)

Long before they became known for knocking off powerhouse programs such as LSU (2017) and Nebraska (2018), the then Troy State University (now Troy University) Trojans were a big fish in small college football during the 1980's, as they won the second of two NCAA Division II national championships in 1987, with the other coming in 1984. So sit back and take a look back at that championship season of 31 years ago, on this week's installment of "RFC Throwback Thursday."
