RFC Throwback Thursday: Ohio Football National Championship Team 1960

(Video courtesy of Ohio University Athletics.)

On this special Thanksgiving Day installment of "RFC Throwback Thursday", you'll listen to, as well as watch, interviews of the players on the Ohio University Bobcats team that won the then "NCAA College Division" national championship in 1960. The Bobcats finished that season unbeaten at 10-0 overall, which was highlighted by a 14-7 win over the then-defending national champions from 1959 in current Mid-American Conference foe Bowling Green on November 19. Ohio also finished the 1960 season ranked #1 in the final College Division polls of the year: the United Press International (UPI) and Associated Press (AP) polls, respectively. The 1960 title would be the only national championship the Bobcats program would ever win in its long history of playing football.
