THE RFC MYC: Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC)-(NCAA Division III)

Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC)-(NCAA Division III)

Overview: The Delaware Valley University Aggies were once again the dominant team in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), as they won their fourth-straight conference championship en route to an undefeated regular season at 10-0. In the NCAA Division III playoffs, the Aggies crushed Anna Maria, 62-10, in the first round, before succumbing to Muhlenberg, 14-0, in the second round, to finish their fall 2021 season at 11-1 overall.

Five other MAC teams advanced to postseason play behind Del Val last fall, with Lycoming (8-3, 6-2), Widener (7-4, 5-3), Stevenson (5-6, 5-3), and FDU-Florham (7-4, 5-3) advancing to an ECAC bowl series. Lycoming and FDU-Florham both won their bowl games to finish their season strong, while Widener and Stevenson both fell short in their respective season-ending contests.

As yet another season approaches in the D-III version of the MAC, expect Delaware Valley to be the favorite to win it all yet again this fall.
