This week's installment of "RFC Throwback Thursday" turns the clock back to 1971. That was when the University of Toledo Rockets cruised to another unbeaten season en route to finishing 12-0 overall. Their season ended with a 28-3 rout over Richmond in the Tangerine Bowl on December 28. Toledo's 35-game winning streak remains the second-longest such streak in modern NCAA Division I-A (now FBS) history, only behind's Oklahoma's 47-game winning streak during the 1950s.
