In a rare "bonus video", this week's installment of "RFC Throwback Thursday turns the clock back to October 12, 1985. That was the Temple University Owls played host to the Rutgers University Scarlet Knights back when both teams were NCAA Division I-A (now FBS) Independents on the East Coast. Led by future NFL journeyman and College Football Hall of Famer Paul Palmer, the Owls edged the Scarlet Knights 14-13. Sadly, though, Temple finished the 1985 season with a disappointing 4-7 record after losing their last four games following a 4-3 start.
