Editor's Note: Here's a fitting end to College Football's 150th Anniversary season, the "12 Days of Bowl Games" here at Real Football Central blog. Over the next 12 days, from December 26, 2019, to January 6, 2020, we'll only feature bowl games involving teams in the current Group Of Five conferences (AAC, C-USA, MAC, Mountain West, and Sun Belt). First up is the 1978 Independence Bowl between the East Carolina Pirates and Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
