Our "12 Days of Bowl Games" series turns the clock back almost 30 years ago, to December 29, 1990. That was when the Colorado State University Rams did battle with the University of Oregon Ducks in the now-defunct Freedom Bowl, which was played at Anaheim Stadium in Anaheim, California. In a close contest, the Rams forced three turnovers to edge the Ducks, 32-31. Colorado State finished the 1990 season at 9-4 overall and 6-1 in Western Athletic Conference (WAC) action with the win over Oregon.
