In the first of two parts of our "double feature" of "RFC Throwback Thursday", we turn the clock to November 14, 1970. That was the date of the worst sports-related plane crash in U.S. history, as Southern Airways Flight 932 crashed just short of the Tri-State Airport in West Virginia, killing all 75 passengers on board, including all players and coaches of the Marshall University football team.
The first video shows a game film from East Carolina's win over Marshall, while the second video is a documentary from ESPN Classic on the 30th anniversary of the plane crash that originally aired in 2000.
