2016 Final Standings-Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA)
Overview: The Winston-Salem State University Rams were the class of an otherwise so-so CIAA in 2016, finishing 9-3 overall en route to winning a conference championship. They advanced to the NCAA Division II playoffs, losing 48-41 to Shepherd in a first-round shootout. The only other CIAA teams to finish last season with a winning record were Virginia State (9-2 overall in 2016), Bowie State (7-4), and Chowan (6-4).
NOTE: If the link to the team's schedule is unlisted, it means that the team has not submitted its schedule for the 2017 season. When the team's schedule is submitted, the link (s) will appear in each blog post.
