RFC Throwback Thursday: Indiana (Pa.)/Slippery Rock Game-1966

(Video courtesy of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania)

If this weekend's Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Division showdown between two unbeaten 5-0 teams in East Stroudsburg and Kutztown wasn't enough, here's some rare game film from 1966 featuring the two squads that are undefeated in the West Division in Indiana (Pa.) and Slippery Rock. Just as in the ESU/KU contest, both IUP and SRU enter this week's clash at 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the PSAC, with first place in the West at stake. Otherwise, sit back and take a look back at a rare classic between two perennial small college powerhouse programs from Western Pennsylvania.

RFC Throwback Thursday: East Stroudsburg vs. Kutztown-2016 (NCAA Division II)

(Video courtesy of Kutztown University/American Sports Network)

As the East Stroudsburg University Warriors and Kutztown University Golden Bears prepare to square off for the 68th time this Saturday, RFC Throwback Thursday turns the clock back to 2016. That was when both KU and ESU did battle for first place in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Division.

While Kutztown edged East Stroudsburg 35-33 in the 2018 contest, both the Golden Bears and Warriors will enter the 2019 meeting undefeated at 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the PSAC East. In other words, the winner of this weekend's huge showdown will become the likely favorite to represent the East in the PSAC Championship Game in November.

Now sit back and enjoy another classic clash between two NCAA Division II teams from Eastern Pennsylvania.
