In this edition of RFC Postseason's Greetings, we're taking a look back at the two national championship seasons for the University of Delaware football program.
The first video recaps the 1979 NCAA Division II national championship game between the Blue Hens and the Youngstown State University Penguins, while the second video highlights the 2003 NCAA Division I-AA (now FCS) title game against Colgate.
Both teams lost only one game en route to their respective national championships, with the 1979 team losing to Temple on September 22, while the 2003 squad fell to Northeastern on November 8.
Delaware finished the 1979 season with a 13-1 overall record, while the Blue Hens concluded their 2003 campaign with a 15-1 overall record.
