This week's installment of "RFC Throwback Thursday" turns the clock back to October 21, 2017. That was when the Ferris State University Bulldogs played host to the Grand Valley State University Lakers in that season's version of the Anchor-Bone Classic. Thanks to a blocked extra point attempt, the Bulldogs edged the Lakers 28-27 on a late touchdown from Reggie Bell. Ferris State would go on to finish the 2017 season at 11-2 overall after falling to Harding to NCAA Division II quarterfinals, while Grand Valley State's season ended at 8-3 overall, with the Lakers missing the playoffs altogether.
