This week's installment of "RFC Throwback Thursday turns the clock back to November 21, 1992. That was when the then-Memphis State University (now the University of Memphis) Tigers took on the East Carolina University Pirates in the final game of the season for both squads. The Tigers pounced on the Pirates early and often for a convincing 42-7 win. Memphis State overcame an 0-3 start to finish the 1992 season at 6-5 overall, while East Carolina settled for a final overall record of 5-6.
