In tribute to the late John Gagliardi, the winningest college football head coach of all time at all levels, "RFC Throwback Thursday" turns the clock back to 2002, when "Today" on NBC aired a brief feature on the former St. John's head coach, who won four national championships; two NAIA crowns in 1963 and 1965, as well as two NCAA Division III titles in 1976 and 2003, all during his 60 years with the Johnnies. Gagliardi, who finished his coaching career with an all-time record of 489-138-11, passed away on October 7, 2018, at 91 years old.
