Quick Analysis: Despite losing to Liberty in the final week of the regular season, the Coastal Carolina University were named as the preseason favorite to defend their share of the Big South Conference title they shared with the Flames last year. While the Flames managed to upset James Madison in dramatic fashion for their first-ever FCS playoff victory last year, the Chanticleers hope to advance to past the quarterfinals for the first time ever later this year.
