North Dakota State wins first-ever FCS title

In just their fourth full season as a member of the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), the North Dakota State University Bison are the 2011-12 national champions.  They upset No. 1 overall seed, and previously undefeated Sam Houston State, 17-6, to win their first-ever FCS crown in Frisco, Tex. Saturday.
