The Carnegie Mellon University Tartans (4-2) from Pittsburgh will be looking to make history this weekend. They'll travel to Ohio to face Wittenberg (5-1).
A win this Saturday would give CMU its 500th win in school history. However, the Tartans will not only have to accomplish that feat on the road, they also must get the job done against a tough Tigers team whose only loss so far this season came against Huntingdon.
Ironically, though, Wittenberg became the first NCAA Division III--or any other non-NCAA Division I program, FBS or FCS, for that matter--to win at least 700 games in its history earlier this season, as the Tigers defeated Capital, 45-28, during the Labor Day Weekend in September.
