In what will be remembered as probably the biggest upset in college football history, two-time defending NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) national champion Appalachian State stunned BCS conference foe Michigan 34-32 at Ann Arbor, Mich. Saturday afternoon. A blocked field goal as time expired helped seal the improbable victory for the Mountaineers.
