2016 Final Standings-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC)
Overview: Three teams from the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) advanced to the NCAA Division III playoffs in 2016, with Wisconsin-Oshkosh (13-2 overall) advancing to the Stagg Bowl, losing to Mary Hardin-Baylor, 10-7. Wisconsin-Whitewater (12-1 overall) won yet another WIAC title last fall but saw their quest to add yet another national championship to their trophy case fall by the wayside in the quarterfinals, as were they upset by John Carroll at home, 31-14. Finally, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneers gave St. John's all it could handle in the first round, only to fall to the Johnnies in a last-second heartbreaker, 32-31.
