2016 Final Standings-Midwest Conference (MWC)
Overview: The Monmouth College (Ill.) Scots (10-1 overall in 2016) cruised through an undefeated regular season, while also finishing Midwest Conference (MWC) play unbeaten at 8-0, and ending with a tough 21-14 loss to Coe in the first round of the NCAA Division III playoffs.
For the 2017 season, the MWC welcomes the University of Chicago Maroons into their mix as an associate member, giving the league 12 teams in all for football. As a result, the conference will be split into two divisions this fall.
