2016 Final Standings-Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC)
Overview: For the first time since 2010, the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) Saints missed out on the NCAA Division III playoffs, finishing 7-3 overall and 7-2 in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play. Meanwhile, it was the University of Northwestern (Minn.) Eagles that represented the UMAC in postseason play, as they won the league's automatic bid at 9-2 overall, and 8-1 in conference games. The Eagles season ended with a first round playoff loss to St. Thomas, 43-0.
In off-the-field news, the UMAC will lose Eureka to the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) for the 2018 season. That's according to d3sports.com. as well as umacathletics.com.
