Overview: After finishing the 2016 season at 9-2 overall, and undefeated in conference play at 7-0, the Olivet College Comets hope to win back-to-back outright Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) titles in 2017. Off the field, Finlandia will join the MIAA as an associate member for 2018. That will bring to the total number of football-playing schools in the league to eight by next season.
