RFC "Throwback Thursday" makes its 2023 debut by turning the clock back to November 5, 2016. That was when the Navy Midshipmen faced their longtime arch rivals in the form of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, at what is now TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida. Behind two rushing touchdowns by Will Worth, Navy edged Notre Dame, 28-27, for the Midshipmen's most recent win over the Fighting Irish to date. Notre Dame has since won the last five meetings against Navy, with the Fighting Irish outlasting the Midshipmen 35-32 in their last meeting on November 12, 2022.
