Liberty League (LL)-(NCAA Division III)
Overview: The 2019 season was the "Year of the Dutchmen", as the Union College Dutchmen of Schenectady, N.Y. cruised to an undefeated regular season at 10-0 in clinching the Liberty League (LL) title, while also finishing league play at 6-0.
In the NCAA Division III playoffs, the Dutchmen rallied from an 18-point halftime deficit to defeat Case Western Reserve 24-21 in the first round before falling to Salisbury 62-41 in the second round. Union's season ended at 11-1 overall after losing to the Sea Gulls.
The 2020 season had an obvious asterisk to it, as all seven teams in the Liberty League canceled their seasons due to the COVID-19. However, expect the LL to bounce back even stronger in time for the 2021 season, with Union expected to be the favorite to finish on top again this fall.
