Ivy League-(FCS)
Overview: The Ivy League is one of the few conferences at any level to experience sustained stability in its membership due to conference realignment. No new members have entered the league, nor have any current members left it during its seven-decade existence. The inaugural season occurred in 1956.
Once again, three teams finished in a three-way tie for the Ivy League title in 2024, with Dartmouth, Harvard, and Columbia all finishing conference play at 5-2. The Big Green and Crimson finished the season with similar overall records of 8-2, while the Lions finished at 7-3. A fourth team, Yale, finished fourth in the Ivy League at 4-3 while finishing at 7-3.
The 2025 season will bring one key change for the Ivy League, with this year's champion earning an automatic bid to the FCS playoffs for the first time ever. That move assures that the "Ancient Eight" will have at least one of its teams participate in postseason play first time since 1945.
