This week's installment of "RFC Throwback Thursday" takes a look at the history of the "Battle of the Bluegrass" rivalry series between the Eastern Kentucky University Colonels and the Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers. Although this weekend's game marks the 86th meeting between the two intra-state rivals, it will be the first game played against each other 2017.
The first three videos feature rare film footage from the 1938, 1941, and 1978 games, while the fourth video features most of the TV broadcast from that 1978 contest, and the fifth and final video features a brief history of the EKU/WKU rivalry in general.
