Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC)-(NCAA Division III)
Overview: The Delaware Valley University Aggies were the dominant team in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) yet again, as they cruised through another unbeaten regular season en route to winning their fifth straight outright conference championship in 2022. The Aggies finished the regular season at 10-0 overall, holding their opponents to eight points or less in eight of those contests.
In the NCAA Division III playoffs, Delaware Valley downed Gallaudet, 59-0, in the first round, then rallied with 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to stun Randolph-Macon, 39-32, in the second round, before bowing to eventual national runner-up Mount Union, 22-6, in the quarterfinals, to finish the season at 12-1 overall. The Aggies outscored their opponents 391-119 during all 13 games played last fall, winning each contest by an average margin of around 21 points per contest.
The upcoming campaign will bring about a few major changes in membership for the D-III version of the MAC, as longtime members Lycoming (4-6 overall, 3-5 in the MAC in 2022) and Wilkes (7-3, 5-3) left to join the Landmark Conference in time for this fall. Joining the fold for the first time will be the Eastern University Eagles from St. Davids, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1925, the 2023 season will mark the first foray into football for the Eagles.

Even with all of the changes, however, Delaware Valley will still enter another season as the likely overwhelming favorite to win an unprecedented sixth-straight MAC championship.
Still, expect plenty of challengers to the Aggies crown this fall, with King's (8-3, 7-1), Stevenson (8-3, 6-2), Lebanon Valley (5-6, 5-3) and FDU-Florham (6-5, 4-4) among the potential contenders.
