Overview: The University of San Diego Toreros had another banner season last fall, finishing unbeaten in Pioneer Football League action en route to an 8-0 record in PFL play, as well as a third straight outright conference championship. USD fell at Nicholls 49-30 in the first round of the FCS playoffs to end their 2018 campaign at 9-3 overall. With a schedule that includes the home opener vs. FCS quarterfinalist UC Davis, as well as road trips to fellow PFL contenders Drake and Stetson, it'll be interesting to see if the Toreros can win a fourth-straight outright conference crown in 2019.
