Patriot League (FCS)
Overview: The Colgate University Red Raiders finished Patriot League undefeated at 6-0 in cruising to the conference championship in 2018. Colgate was the lone league team to finish the season with an overall winning record at 10-2, as the other six teams finished last fall at least one game under .500 overall. After outlasting and ousting James Madison in the second round of the FCS playoffs, the Red Raiders fell to eventual national champion North Dakota State in the quarterfinals.
Expect Colgate to be the team to beat in the Patriot League once again, although the likes of Georgetown and Holy Cross, both of whom finished the 2018 season at 5-6 overall and 4-2 in Patriot League play, could mount a serious challenge to the Red Raiders for the 2019 season.
