This week's edition of "RFC Throwback Thursday" looks back at the rivalry between Coastal Carolina and Liberty University. Although this rivalry dates back to 2003, the inaugural season of the Coastal Carolina program, it has had its share of moments, including the Cure Bowl on December 26, 2020, in which the Flames denied the Chanticleers an unbeaten season with a 37-34 overtime win. As of this post, Liberty leads the all-time series over Coastal Carolina, 8-7. The four videos above feature regular-season games from 2010, 2013, and 2025, as well as the epic Cure Bowl clash from 2020.
