Last week on "RFC Throwback Thursday", there was a brief feature of the 50th anniversary of the University of Delaware's 1963 College Division National Championship (Small College) team, which was produced in 2013. This week, the way back gets fast forwarded eight years to 1971. That was when another squad of Blue Hens took home another national championship, although their lone loss from that season came to Temple. Watch and listen as the members of that team tell their stories, in their own words, from 2011.

On this special Thanksgiving installment of "RFC Throwback Thursday", there's a brief video recapping the 50th anniversary of the University of Delaware's 1963 College Division National Championship (Small College) team, which was produced in 2013. The Blue Hens finished the 1963 season unbeaten at 8-0 overall, and declared the small college national champions at #1 in the UPI poll, while finishing at #2 in the AP (Associated Press) poll.
