This week's installment of "RFC Throwback Thursday" turns the clock back to 1982. That was when the University of Maine Black Bears overcame all odds to claim what was then known as the Yankee Conference (now Colonial Athletic Association) Championship. The Black Bears finished the season at 7-4 overall, as well as a four-way share of the conference crown at 3-2. They finished tied with Boston University, UConn, and UMass for the league title, falling short of postseason play in the process.
