Editor's Note: Effective with this post, there will be a new brief feature on the Real Football Central blog titled: "The RFC RSS", with the "RSS" standing for "Random Select Schedules". At least once a week during the summer, the RFC RSS will focus on the schedules of select college football teams that currently play outside of the "Power Five" conferences, from the FBS Group Of Five to the NAIA. Football - Schedule - Georgia State Athletics
Analysis: Coming off of its first-ever bowl win, in its first-ever postseason appearance, not to mention their first-ever winning season as an FBS program, the Georgia State University Panthers hope to build on last year's 7-5 record. The 2018 slate, however, is strong from top to bottom, as the Panthers play host to FCS playoff quarterfinalist Kennesaw State in the opener on August 30, as well as road trips to N.C. State, Memphis, defending Sun Belt Conference co-champions Troy and Appalachian State, and bowl participant Arkansas State.
