Quick Analysis: The University of New Hampshire Wildcats had perhaps their best season as a member of the NCAA Division I Football Championships Subdivision (FCS)--(formerly NCAA Division I-AA), as they advanced to the national semifinals for the second straight season, losing to eventual national runner-up, Illinois State, 21-18. Despite the deep postseason run, however, it's another team of Wildcats, the ones from Villanova University, who were picked to win the CAA crown this fall.
