Website

2012 Final Standings

Looking back: In one of the most competitive seasons in Ivy League football history, Penn (6-4 overall) won the crown despite going winless in non-conference play (0-3).

Looking ahead: Unpredictability just might be the name of the game in the Ivy League this fall.

Predicted order of finish (2012 overall record in parentheses)

1. Harvard (8-2):  Crimson were a combined 14 points away from going unbeaten in 2012.

2. Dartmouth (6-4):  Big Green look to do even bigger things after ending last season with three straight wins.

3. Penn (6-4):  Defending Ivy League champion Quakers look to add to their legacy in 2013.

4. Brown (7-3):  Coming off their fifth straight winning season, the Bears hope to finally crack the eight-win plateau this season.

5. Princeton (5-5):  Tigers will welcome 30 newcomers to their roster this year.

6. Cornell (4-6):  The Big Red will look to get a fresh start under new head coach David Archer.

7. Columbia (3-7):  The Lions look to move forward after a disappointing 2012 season.

8. Yale (2-8):  The Bulldogs hope to rebound after suffering one of their worst seasons in recent memory.
