SHARKS TAKE BITE OUT OF DORADOS

In their only second season in arenafootball2, the Corpus Christi Sharks stunned the Rio Grande Valley Dorados in the unofficial "Battle of South Texas", 61-54, on Saturday night. The loss snapped the Dorados 14-game regular season winning streak.

ARENA CUP RETURNS TO HOST SITE FORMAT

The 2008 arenafootball2 season will see a return to a familiar postseason format. The 2008 Arena Cup title game will return to the host venue of the participating team, af2 officials recently announced. The last three Arena Cups were held at neutral sites; Bossier City, La., and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
