NORTHERN SUN CONFERENCE EXPANDS TO 14 SCHOOLS
Due to the imminent disbanding of the NCAA Division II North Central Conference, thanks mainly to the departures of the Universities of North and South Dakota, respectively, to the NCAA Division I ranks, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference chose to get proactive, as the league added four of the remaining members from the NCC to the list earlier this week. The move will take effect prior to the 2008 season.
